This is probably like a UN special. Gotta love those trail-ready stripped-out trims on these bad boys!
Edit: Here’s its slightly smaller sibling, the Prado.

I dunno if it would fit 9 Americans, but for most other countries that’s pretty awesome. 3 rows of bench goodness.

I wonder what the price is.

I looked up the Toyota UAE website starting prices since it seems this type of Land Cruiser is discontinued in the UK: $34,000 USD for Land Cruiser Prado, $54,000 USD for Land Cruiser.

With these prices in America, Toyota can kick some Jeep ass. Just watch a customer walk with back wards hats and shorts with Oakley glasses walk in. Call em phony wanna be rock climbing pussies right off the bat for wanting “comforts” and point them to the Prado. The NATO, UN and Taliban cant all be wrong! Lol

nope!
to remove engine , you remove the body from the frame first.
absolute genius decision from Toyota there!

Ok y’all, close your eyes and picture swapping that TD V8 and stick in to an American Land Cruiser... Heaven!

There are some rumors flying around that Toyota may bring the 70-Series Land Cruiser to the US in the near future:

That’s something to worry about in about 2050:

I think it’s unlikely for that chassis and body, given how rigorous our crash testing is.

i’ve heard of the V8TD being unusually problematic for a Toyota engine at relatively lowish kms.

Didn’t it pass Euro NCAP for 2017 though?
